Ok, i replaced the thermo, still wistles and leaks around the cap when it gets warm, as far as i can tell the only place i see water is around the cap. and that is all the water i am loosing, as far as i can tell. Any thing else to check, sinsor, something little before i put it in the shop. Hopefully it aint a head gasket. 05 6.0. only mod is a superchip programmer. and it stays on high performance, but i dont push the truck. and if i have to put in shop, local dealer, what am i looking at price wise if its a head gasket.

and was going fishing in the morning. pulling a triton basss boat. you think it would hurt to pull it or not. then parking it until i can get it fixed.

5k, dammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. and yes i have tried a differant cap, ford cap, samd psi and temp. still leaking from cap. 5k, ill sell this truck before i spend 5k. or find a shad tree mech to do it.
