Source for quality fuel pump?
Just replaced my fuel pump 2 weeks ago with a rebuilt I bought on Ebay. That one is now failing. (Ticking and low volume of fuel being pumped)
Does Napa provide a good quality pump, and are these old ones worth having rebuilt?

What causes the pump to "tick"?
I have read several posts that people have had issues with Advanced fuel pumps.
Napa has 2 that I have found. The first #NFP M4014 fittings are 1/8" and 1/2", with fuel pressure rates at 4.5-5.5.
Second is #NFP M6676 fittings are both 3/8", fuel pressure rating is 5.5-7.5.

I know it's probably not a lot of help at this point, but I don't buy rebuilt auto parts off of eBay for that reason.
It's bad enough buying rebuilt stuff from the big parts houses. Most of it is Chinese garbage and you sometimes end up going through two or three of them before you find one that actually works.
A lot of the eBay vendors are sourcing the same Chinese junk that the big parts houses are sourcing, but at least with a local parts house, you can go back until you get the one that works.

Only listing the FoMoCo Dealers, cuz the obsolete parts vendors may be selling made in China crappola.
There's much more of a chance that the dealers are stuck with NOS genny Ford.
