Fuel lines?

Is there a difference between gasoline fuel lines and deisel fuel lines? I have been told that deisel will deteriorate rubber gas lines, but that doesn't make since to me because both are petroleum based products. Does the higher sulfer content matter?

I'm not a genius by any means but I would believe that it would be the ethanol in the gasoline (perhaps a similar thing in ulsd too?) that would be eating the rubber lines.

They are both the same. Bio-diesel will deteriorate regular rubber lines, but standard diesel and gas use the same "fuel" line, not "vacuum" line. Diesel doesn't have much sulfur in it anymore, just to let you know.
