Power stressing leak
Hey all I have a massive power steering leak on my 89 b2 I was wondering would I be better off rebuilding it or buying a new or used one?cab I use one off a ranger or explored or ford pick up?

Check your hoses at the pump. the low pressure hose should be just a length of hose with clamps. Those will fail regularly when the rubber under the clamp breaks down. The other high pressure hose has fittings that come loose, but the more frequent failure is a wear through in the rubber portion. That will squirt fluid . the low pressure hose will usually just slop oil in the general area and appear like a pump problem. the low pressure hose is an easy fix.
