seems very logical lol..well i did google it lol and i find a bunch of stangs with them haha..ill do some further research..got another question the stock gauges in these trucks are electical correct?
ten four. i was originally looking at the sunpros black faced oil pres and water temp they were both mechanical tho. so in this case let me ask you what you would do. would u find an electrical water temp or would u use the sunpro mechanical water temp gauge?
ten four...is the mechanical swap from electrical water temp to mechanical hard? im clueless when it comes to this kinda stuff, i can build the motor all day long but when it comes to this electrical and gauges im lost..
Hmmmm...Not totally sure on that one to be honest...I'd imagine it has a T, or a probe of sorts to be able to read the temps....IIRC, it is T'ed into the Radiator hose....Don't hold me to that, but that would make perfect sense, especially it had a thermostat style probe built into the T....
lol its all good..im just wantin to do a 2-3 gauge pillar and tryin to figure out what type of gauges i need to be looking for. elec or mech...so far iv got mech for oil and probly mech for water temp..what would you consider for a third gauge? volts or tran temp?
damn lol i here that..i was thinkin mayby just using my stock volt meter for right now..bc my buddys giving me a 3 pillar gauge for free. but one day swapping to the 4 pillar gauge..i was lookin at the mechanical sun pro gauges but i just came across these
