I have a question that I hope somebody out there can help me with... I have a 1985 F150 4WD that has power windows. Both the driver and passenger sides are inoperable. The will let the window down, but won't roll them back up.
Anyway, since I use this truck for a farm hauler, I am wondering if it is possible to simply eliminate the window motors and put a crank on the door panels where the window switches are located? Is this possible, and if so, what would I need to do to make it happen? I'm hoping to avoid the cost of two new window motors (around $50 to $60 each), but if the hassle of changing over to a crank is not worth it, then I guess I'll have to go ahead and buy them.
