I don't remember what make they are, but Joey (joeyd61) has some awesome bumpers, both front and rear, probably the nicest ones I've seen, IMHO. They are a lot like the one in that pic you posted Phil, just the bumper, no grill guard. Hopefully he'll see this and chime in.
joeys are iron bulls. been emailing him a little. @ Jim ..LOL. haha im trying. i have so many wants right now. i just got excited when i saw that cheap 300 rear bumper. wanted to see if anyone knew where to get a front one for that price.
I like the one without the tubing. just have to do some searchin.
Its waaaaaaay stronger than any tube or plate bumpers - I was shocked at how easily my previous Ranchhand folded up!! I had him add the receiver hitch and D-rings to mine. He will have it powder coated any color ya want too. Mine is going on 3yrs old now and still looks great, no fading, chipping, etc.
Not exactly, but guessing 250 lbs? Its literally 2x as heavy as my tube and plate ranchhand (looked like Bulla's) was. The main structure is 3x5 tubing and 3/16" plate!
Phil,
I went by the place that has the Top Gun Bumpers, here are couple of pics...Like I said in the e-mail..If you want them and work it out with Mark, I can bring them to RRE....
My ranch hand weighs in at 262! What did u hit to fold up ur previous bumper?
Maybe it is heavier than 250????
Well, I went downstairs and cranked up the truck EARLY one morning to warm it up. While I was upstairs getting the kids ready, etc - I hear the truck get quieter. Since it has a straight pipe, 1200 rpm's and EBPV closed tends to make a racket... Anyway, I walk over to the window with that sick feeling in my stomach and look at where it was. I then look down the hill where it ended up. It hit a small tree just outside the passenger frame horn. The tube part of the Ranchhand crushed like a beer can and tore open allowing the bars to hit the passenger fender. Overall, ALOT less damage than if the factory bumper was there - but the bumper was a complete loss and I also needed a new fender, header panel, grill and headlight(s).
