FlashPaq Tuners

Does anyone have any experience with the FlashPaq Tuners? Are they reliable to use with stock trucks?

I knew I was going to be told that. More than likely that is what I am going to buy. I am just looking for some feedback on the product.

I run one on my 03 SD. It is on the performance mode but I don't hot rod it. I rarely tow anything heavier than 2K lbs, this mode has a 6K max towing. I mainly used it for the increased gas mileage. Picked up 4 extra mpg's. It was a gift so I am stuck with it. I would also go with the SCT but the FlashPaq has served me well for the last 90K miles.

6000 lb limit huh. When I tow, its usualy 8-9000 lbs (Travel Trailer) so that's not going to work. That's all the convincing I need.

They have a "safe tow" setting and allows you to tow up to the truck limit but it did not give me the best mileage. That is why I picked the Performance setting. I wanted better mpg! I never tow heavy so that was not an issue for me. I still think the SCT is the best.
