Hi all I need to glue up the inside mirror mount. But... My windshield has never had one mounted. Can someone measure inside the cab from the bottom of the top rubber seal to the centerline of the mirror mount. Thanks in advance.
I hope you have better luck than me gluing the metal tab on the glass. I did it twice only to find the mirror on top of the dash after the sun warmed up the interior. I mean, I followed the instructions to the absolute letter and it still fell off.
Frustrated, my solution was to fabricate a bracket that mounted under the sunvisor bracket with an arm pointing which followed the windshield contour. Then I rosette welded the tab to the arm in the approximate location as stated above by Sleepy445FE. That ***** is going nowhere.
Thanks for the reply. I'm going to use loctite brand. I've done it in other trucks without issue. You have to make sure the glass is super clean. I usually wipe with acetone then alcohol to make darn sure. I also let it cure over night with a piece of masking tape holding it up.

Well same here! .. AND I let it set for like a week cuz I had other things to do. ...Maybe I got a bad or old batch from Loctite. It's a conspiracy I tell ya!!!
