Just replaced my fuel pump, banjo bolt washers, the 3 blue hoses, and the black return hose. Have the fuel system buttoned up.
Any special tricks for refilling the fuel system or leak-checking before I button up the intercooler piping? Topping off the filter bowl is a given, but is there anything else I should do?
Original issue was a significant leak from somewhere in the pump/bowl area, on the order of a half gallon an hour. Pump, hoses, washers were likely original, so I just replaced everything.
OK, I'm not a serious mechanic so I am pleased that everything is back together and it started easily. Next step, some extended driving to see if I have a dry valley or a swamp.
