My brother is getting rid of a 250 or 350 series 92 vintage ice cream truck with the 351. He says it runs ok. Without verifying actual casting numbers, in general - what would you guys think is in it ? 2nd question - assuming it runs decent, any guess what it would be worth ? Also, is this likely the roller cam engine ? Likely 4 bolt mains ? I'll try to verify mileage and other related items. I may offer to pull it - of course I'll have to give him at least the scrap price - I have a 92 with the 5.0, and you never know when it may be tempting to go for more hp .... yeah a compression check would be good as well. Thanks for any likely info on what it has ....
it should be a 351W motor.
more then likely not a roller block as they came out in 94. won't be a 4 bolt main as Ford never made (other then the aftermarket racing blocks) a factory 4 bolt main 351W.
as far as how much it is woth, only you can answer that. but i would not pay more then $500 for a complete running motor of that vintage myself.
