I have a 2008 Van, I really like the 2009 dash. Has anyone looked into this? Done it. I was thinking dash, door panels switches. Everything.

 

Yeah i like the newer dash and gauges. That could be a rough job. Your computer probably wont like the new gauges. It might be easier and cheaper to just trade in yours for a 2009.

 

I actually have not looked at the new dash until now, that looks really good. I seriously doubt ford changed any of the sheet metal. I don't see why the fuel sender, speedo, coolant temp gauges would be any different and the tach might take a few tricks but it's doable. mine is a 98 so I doubt I could get the display on the instrument cluster to work. not sure if 2008 has one.

I have been wanting to get the new front end for a while, and now I guess I should just wait 3-4 years and buy a rearended 09 and swap the dash and front clip. the dash matches the bold frontend nicely.

 

did you manage to do this swap? Curious how it went?
