Yeah, I like spinach artichoke with tortillas. Nacho cheese is good too. You know, the kind that won't get you mouth cancer.

IMHO that habit is nasty and disgusting. I used to work for a guy who spit in the trash can and it was my job to empty it. Maybe that explains why I feel the way I do. If you chew or dip just swallow it!!
Ok, I've got my flack jacket on, flame me.

Hi needanf150 and Welcome to FTE.

Actually, there's quite a few people here that "dip" "snuff" "chew". There was a whole thread on it a while ago. Although I don't "dip", my hubby does Wolf. He used to do copenhagen, but after having quit for a few years, that stuff made him dizzy when he tried it agian (as if he isn't already there). Anyway, when he went back to it, he began price shopping cause he couldn't see paying the price for Cope. He usually finds Wolf @ 2 for 2.49 or so.

Despite all the "cocky" comments, this is a good bunch of guy (and gals) so surf around and find other points of interest.

Also, don't forget to check out the '47 & older and Bodywork forums.

I look to see you there.

Cope almost exclusively, have to get something cheap every now and then to save some cash. I try not to be too obvious about my habit, I only spit once or twice when I first put a dip in, after that I just swallow it. Started swallowing it out of necessity way back in high school, automatically suspended if you get caught with tobacco products. After a while its no big deal, the trick is not to let too much get accumulated before you take a gulp and, of course, pray that you don't get stomach cancer.

Cope, wish I could quit but truly love it to death (appropriate, eh?).
Getting expensive though, around $5.00 and up per can here in NJ. I've never swallowed but have known some people who do, never could 'stomach' it (haha).

Once you go Cope, you never go back. To me, everything else is second rate now and I'll only chew it if all of the stores around me are out of Cope. Plus, it's gotten to the point where we are getting it anywhere from 5-10 days old as per the date on the can, and Cope that fresh WILL KICK YOUR BUTT!! yee-hah!

I just started using cope and it seams like it stays fresher/ moister longer than anything eles. If you want a real head rush put a capful of Jack daniels in it and let it soak. My budies co-worker does this. I tried it and it kicked my but for about 20 min.

Down here in Texas, I pay $4.65 tax and all for Copenhagen regular. I get cans as fresh as 1 day by the date. The can I have now is dated 10/14/2 and it's only the 16th. The trick to swallowing is not to stuff your face with it as I see many do. Like the football player used to say in the commercial, "Just a pinch between the cheek and gum is all it takes".
I've been "chewing" Copenhagen since Happy Days was no longer available. Snuff could be bought for less than a buck and only "real" men chewed tobacco like Redman, Beechnut, Levi Garret, etc.
Although it has the potential to be a nasty habit, that is based mostly on the person doing it. Most of the people I know didn;t even know I dipped until they saw me put it in my mouth cuz I never spit!

I still believe its more enviromentally friendly than smoking since there is no smoke, no filter, no plactic, and no fire danger.
