options
I have a '99 F250 V10 I bought used about 2 years ago. Yesterday, the spark plug from the cylinder at the very back of the drivers side engine bank came out. It blew out. It apparently had been repaired before as the plug has an oversize insert around the threads.
Obviously the plug blowing out can be repaired but, can the failed repair be repaired or do while I have to buy another head to fix it?
What are my options? The motor seemed to run fine. It rattles somewhat but it ran OK. Has around 115K on it.
Has anyone swapped in the 7.5L gas engine into one of these trucks? Would the transmission from the V10 bolt up to the older 7.5L? Has anyone ever replaced the V10 with another V10? How do you remove the engine from one of these?
Thanks!

I know the spark plug blowing was an issue on these motors. If this is the second time its done it, I'd get another motor. Either a new V10 after the issue had been fixed or different motor all together.
