getting NO air flow through dash vents.

Check the vacuum lines on the back side of the climate controls.

I've had to lube the block up again cause it started to dry out and not seal any more.

yep. when crap falls down the vents in the top of the dash, it tends to jam stuff up.

If it's stuck on defrost you have a vacuum leak or the pump is not working. The brakes will fell rock hard too though.
