what to check after replacing #2 inj. and same symtoms return. start up white blue smoke,smells like raw diesel. idles ruff then smoothes out after warm up on the road driving. goes completly smooth runs great. then back to ruff idle again. original code was #2 missfire detected. replaced all valve cover gaskets and internal wires. now getting same issues and reading #2 missfire again. ive nticed a little wear at the wire loom and intake area were connects . (concern?)
it was originally a code that i received with a scanner and said # 2 missfire. engine light was on then.
now same symptoms.
when ford had it thats, all they would say is #2 misfire and #8 has issue? $300.00 for that without going deeper into motor.
so i took it home and will keep replacing other parts or find solid info from f.t.e/riffraff.etc. do appreciate all the help
