The C6 should bolt up with no problems. You may have some tranny crossmember issues. But they should not be bad if there are any at all. You may or may not have to change your flexplate and use the one that goes to the C6. I have a C6 that came off of a 300-6 out of a 1982 Ford van which is bolted to a 302. I forgot exactly what I did but it works fine.
The crossmember will need to be moved back several inches or so and the driveshaft shortened. You'll then have to extend the shifter linkage and modify the kickdown linkage. Not to hard though, and worth the trouble.
