1980 tailights?

1980 tailights?
well, my tailights dont work..maybe? when i start the truck up and pull out the switch, healights come on, but the tailights dont. brake lights work and turn signals work, but tailights dont..weird things is, after maybe 15 minutes, they will come on? never heard of warming up your tailights aha =p sometimes they wont work at all. is this my headlight switch? or faulty wiring..

I'm gonna guess bad grounds.
Remove the tail light assemblies (4 screws) and clean the ground connections to the sheet metal.
You should also make sure the bulb sockets are in good shape.
All the marker lights are fed by a single, brown-wire circuit.

Grab a test light, and see if power is getting to the bulbs. If it is, start checking the grounds. It not, start tracing the wires back towards the front while probing for power. At some point, you should find where the break is.
