Your 81 F350 "SHOULD" have a TTB Dana 50.

If it does, then you can use hubs from another Dana 50 TTB(f250 or early f350) or a Dana 60 solid axle(ford{f350} chevy or dodge)

be carefull alot of the earlier f250s used dana 44s and those hubs will not work

D44 locking hubs are 3.25" diameter, and D50/D60 locking hubs are 4" diameter.
I always tell people to ID the front axle in a 80+ ford, measure hubs. 3.25" = D44. 4" = look underneath to see if it bends in the middle, Yes = D50, no = D60. Pretty accurate system, so long as it hasn't had a bunch of modding/swapping done over the years......

Autozone has the hubs for $159.00. #449ss. But they will have to order them, they don't keep them in stock.

That is because most likely you had a Dana 44 in your F250 and you have a D50 in your F350

You had better stay stock if you want to keep your ride. A lift will make it stiffer, and larger tires and wheels makes it ride rougher and kills your fuel mileage. But, if your truck is original with the dana 50 front axle, a f250 kit should fit it.

Yes, but no ride improvement. It will most likely make it worse, unless your truck is already riding on the bumpstops
