Quick update, I had Direct Waterjet cut the script for my tailgate. They sent me an update so I figured I'd share it, hope ya like...

Its 14" tall and 34" wide, same script as the emblems and the best part is it was actually cheaper to get this cut than the emblems were...

Another quick update for you guys. I've been playing around with the idea of putting in some sort of intake scoops or something like that on the hood. Well after messing around abit this is what I came up with. Once I'm done they will be operational but I'm mainly doing it for looks...

The rough opening with 2 1/4 inch exhaust pipe for the inlets.

This may give you an idea of what I'm after.

This is a straight on view of it.

After I got it all welded up and smoothed down. The tape is for the outline of a screen to cover it up.

My plan is to put some sort of a screen in behind the black cover to keep stuff from going in there that shouldn't. I still have to do the finishing work on the cover there. I just put a quick coat of paint on it so it would stand out abit so you guys could see my idea...

Oh today I got my Ford script for the tailgate back from Direct Waterjet, these guys are awesome man. I will never use the plasma cutter again for stuff like this. I think once its done it will look real good. Its 14inches tall and 33 3/4 inches wide so shes gonna take up some room on the back...

Hello,
I think that the folks with the waterjet did a great job with the cut out. The idea and the work that you did on creating a way to mount them is an excellent example of using the skills that you have to make it work. Thanks for the pictures.
