I have replaced every bushing (except king pins), tie rods, link bar and steering box (all store bought). My truck still darts from side to side even after having it aligned. I noticed that the steering box I bought has some play in it. Is this normal for these old trucks? Has anyone else had these types of problems? Cure? (69 F250)

There is an adjuster on the top of the box itself. You just have to mess with it a lille bit to get some play out. Also are you running radial or bias tires, the bias will put you all over the road.
Check the king pins for play. Mine was much more stable after I got some more caster put in by the alignment shop. Be careful on the steering gear adjustment. You can get it too tight and not know it unless you follow the shop manual procedure.
