so im doin a spark plug change this week i hope.......boots and springs also.......some say no never sieze but always have in the past with other vehicles....so should i or shouldnt i use never sieze with my 03 f350 5.4...if so should i adjust the torque spec slightly....10% or so?????
If you do a dry install, use 21ft/lbs as your torque setting. If you use anti-seize, use 14ft/lbs as your torque setting. Anti seize is a lubricant, so you adjust your setting down.
Just as an FYI, with anti-seize you KNOW you won't have any issues when they have to come back out. I use it on every vehicle I have, even my quads.
There's a good write up on it in the tech section.
