When I get the funds I'm putting on a Ranch Hand Legend series, full front replacement. Main support is Sch. 40 pipe...it will take a fender bender w/ something a LOT bigger than you to hurt one of those.
There's a lot of manufacurers w/ similar designs. What are you looking for though? These are definitely utilitarian looking, no chrome, but they'll stand up to about anything you throw at it. The chrome ones might be pretty but they don't protect much in a collision.
If you're after function then you really can't get more functional than a full front replacement. It's a bumper/grill guard combined and typically built very stout. Where are you located? They're pretty easy to find in cattle country. I can't post pics from here but google Ranch Hand, Renegade, Cattleman, Top Gun, and South Texas Outfitters just to name a few. You should be able to find a Ranch Hand in the range of $1000-1,500...but these things can weigh like 300lbs so shipping very far will quickly eat up any savings.
Do a search on here as well, there's several threads dedicated to this subject.
Ranch Hand. Purely functional, and from my experience, most widely chosen in my part of Texas. South Texas Outfitters is number one for custom jobs, they'll stack pipes on the front or make custom grill guards for the replacements.
I love mine...the truck was in an accident before I bought it and came with front replacement, I herculinered it and love the way it looks. My only worry is rusting, where I am they salt the road heavily. I am not sure what brand I have. Here is another guy that makes them. Bumperdude.com
I think you can find mine on page 4.
Here is a couple pics

Reason: Had to edit the pictures...thanks
since where talking about bumpers and there is no specific make indication then i prefer gmc truck bumpers on my gmc truck. bec. it is more prudent when it comes to durability. and even in accidents. but ford bumpers are good too i have no against about that.
Hi,
Very happy with my Buckstop Outback bumper. They supplied paper work that showed that they double checked what they shipped. The bumper came complete, with all the small bits.
