need question answered real quick

this has nothing to do with my X or diesel motor

working on daughters car have no spark tryed to to ck plug wires for break
with ohm meter there is no sign of solid connection have on tone for short and it shows open i should read dead short or am i just having an old man moment

No spark at all on all plugs? Check camshaft position sensor.

Spark plugs won't read with a meter. There is resistance to help with radio noise.

Right. You need to measure the resistance of the wires. Find two that are comparable in length, and measure their resistance with a good multimeter. If they are close in length and resistance(you're assuming they're both good), you can take the resistance measurement, divide it by the length of the wire, and use that as a base line for checking your other wires.(ex:20K ohms/ 56"= 357 ohm's per inch).
