wipers

Hello, new to the forum, love reading all the posts! Anyways, I have a 1994 f150 302. The wipers on my baby are a PITA! ill turn them on and they won't work, if I move the blinker around a little bit they will work. I have to have the blinker in just the right spot for em to stay on, i don't know what the problem is, any help would be great! Thank you!

Don't mean to hyjack this but it wiper related

I can't find the button to post a new thread????

1992 F150....Wipers would not turn on yesterday so took wife's 4X4 to work. The washer stopped working months ago but the wipers were fine. Thought I was looking at replacing the wiper motor. There is no clicking or anything when I turn the lever arm to turn them on. This morning they worked so I am thinking its the switch itself. Found two but they look totally different. One has the arm with it but the switches don't even look the same. So....does it sound like its just the switch and how hard is it to change it providing I get the RIGHT one?

Part numbers are E0TZ-17A553A (just the switch)

and Part #MISW5630 Mfr #: SW5630 (with the lever arm)

Thanks
Norman

92-96 trucks use the signal stalk in conjunction with the wipers....As stated before...The whole stalk could have went bad....LMC Truck sells replacements....
