I pulled out of the parking lot and while driving down the road the CEL light came I didn't even know my truck had one since It never came on before. I know but didn't know so I gave it a little more throttle and it went away.
Just wondering if it was a fluke possibly or what. Checked my oil level and it was good to go. My LPOP oil pressure is good I have a 3 pillar gauges for EGT, LPOP, Boost.
Also anyone know about CanOBD2 or is that a waste of time. Since I really don't know how to read the codes on my truck yet.
Definitely get the codes checked... Could be anything. Where are you located, maybe somebody has a code reader near you... Usually the Autozone ones don't work on our trucks, that's why I ask...
Unless your PCM has been updated to OBDII you may not be able to pull the codes. The connector to do so is under the hood on the 94.5s IIRC. The newer rigs the OBDII connector is in the cab. Might be incorrect on yours but thats what I recall.
Auto Enginuity is one of the best. You need a lap top to run it. It's not too expensive. I think you can get the Ford bundle for under 400 bucks... That will work on any Ford. Again, I'm not sure if it will work with your 94 though...
