Ha! You shoulda stopped. I love talking trucks. Especially these old ones.

Nope. Nothing serious. I was adjusting the idle on the carb. This truck has a edelbrock 1406 on it and it works pretty good most of the time, but it needs to be tuned or rebuilt or something.

I've always taken the easy path with carb problems and just replaced them. I decided I'm going to actually try and learn about them and learn to maintain this one. I downloaded the owners manual from edelbrocks website, and that's a good start.

The truck is running good overall. Gas mileage isn't too bad. I'm only driving it when I need a truck, thou. I went camping over the weekend and put about 300 miles on her. She does real well and looks good in a campsite, even when the $40K diesels drive by.

Nice truck.. 500 bucks isn't a bad deal at all.
