hello i am new here but have been reading posts here for over two years now.I own a 2001 f250 with a 5.4 and 4.10gears.I want more horsepower factory horse is rather low at 260bhp wouldnt you say.I am looking at installing several things ,first a k&n fipk kit, then a mass airflow sensor, then a flowmaster dual kit i would like to run straight duals from the manifolds back would it be worth it.then maybe a power programmer. Can anyone give me some info on these or some power talk.I work with a guy that all he does is rave about his dodge 5.7 hemi with 345bhp how he will smoke me and pull me around hopefully after some changes he will think twice.

Get rid of your single exhaust if you can get inspected w/out cat
Electric fan instead of stock fan
Without going to internal mods this should help.
Where can i look for a bigger throttle body the only mods i can find are simple bolt ons like i explained can you give me a little more detail on this .my state doesnt do emmissions but i dont think they will remove the cat because it was there they have to put it back. And are you talking about the granatelli mass air flow sensor adds up to 15 horse to the rear wheels.I found throttle body spacers poweraid makes one a helix bore also does not work with high flow air intakes.so this limits what i can do right???
bbk throttle body, on mine it is #1711, should fit yours also.
Pro-m mass air meters has one that will fit your 5.4
i have true dual exhaust on my V10, find a small exhaust shop that will do your exhaust work, somebody will remove your cat.
I have pics in the V10 forum under" pics in my gallery" except you have to scroll down to one of my responses in that subject to find them.I know it is not politically correct to remove cat, but if you can i recomend it as far as a power increase.mrrottendog had a granatelli, and didnt feel much of an increase. The way to go is to put a bigger mass air sensor calibrated for larger injs so you are increasing fuel along with increased air flow in my opinion.
