as a fellow pilot, you should know better than to use the phrase " down in flames" . much like my first flight instructor said to me after telling him i was going to "crash" at a friends house that eve., he told me " pilots dont use the word crash." and he MENT it.

You are correct Icelander! I should've posted it in a different manner, something like, let me see here, ........What if I flame out? But the phrase "down in flames" has a good audience that understand it's meaning.
At this point in my flight experiance, it is better for me to keep a humble head. And that is what I was trying to convey. No big deal
I'll take what you said to heart though. You are right.
I also believe that windows can "flame out" , "go down in flames" , and burn up upon reentry. Did I mention that I really dislike windows right now. Im talking about the software its supposed to be funny.
