ONE SICK PUPPY

<HR style="COLOR: rgb(209,209,225)" SIZE=1>I have an 06 SD 5.4 gas 4x4 EO4D trans. it only drives in 3rd regardless of shifter position. Yesterday, it began not wanting to drive until tach was at 1500rpm. feels like the TC was locked and not releasing. the list of TBC's is long, and some obscure. The O2 sensor codes are most likely due to a leak at manifold. Could it affect the trans?

If it's stuck in 3rd, it's in limp mode. Reset the codes and drive it and see what happens.

Codes cleared and connections checked for corrosion. Still same problem

The 06 SD never came with a 4spd auto, you should have a 5R110 in there. Even a decent exhaust leak pre O2 will not have such an effect on the transmission as to keep it stuck in 3rd. Sounds like you need to get in contact with a good transmission shop.
