So over on RangerForums, I was pretty much the king of factory interchange with my Ranger, having Ford parts from 1979-2011 on it from various year Rangers and other vehicles. I try to do the same thing with my Fairmont, by using mustang, LTD II and other early fox parts.

So now in this new land of 97-03, im wondering what parts people have installed from various Ford vehicles?

For example, i have installed keypad entry on f-150's before using a higher model f-150 door handle or expedition door handle which id like to try to do t my truck. Also, id like to use 2011 superduty taillights on it if they will work.

Any other examples? Thanks!

 

I've heard that Exped. and Navigator headlights will interchange into F150's but not sure just what it takes to do it, will be interesting to see what kind of response you get.

 

2011 super duty tail lights will fit, and a 2011 super duty tailgate will fit(with the step).

thats all i know. nothing from newer f150s will fit because the body style drastically changes.

I have a set of 2011 superduty taillights i got today for it. Now to see if i can use the illuminated kaypad entry

 

can anyone tell me if a 1999 and 2003 expeditions hoods are interchangable?
