Shannons Wheels carshow in Canberra, Australia, is usually held on the last Sunday of the month in March. So book in the weekend of the 24th and 25th of March 2012 for a Canberra weekend.
Next year we'll make it bigger and better - a proper cruise on Saturday arvo - possibly for a picnic at some out of the way scenic spot. Maybe a catered spit-roast on Sunday whilst at the show.
Also depending on numbers we could have an F250 dinner on Satuday night.

Update. Clay is ready to book tickets. We are looking at a week or two between Feb and early April. Can I get some feed back on who is interested, when and where so we can try and accommodate every one. Shannons is the first suggestion any others.

Still not exactly sure what w/e Shannons Wheels 2012 will be on in Canberra. The 2 most likely w/es are 17&18 or 24/25.
I still have plenty of scope during March and am happy to travel to Sydney for a w/e although I'm sure my calendar will fill up fast closer to the date!

we are going to incorporate a wrenching weekend which will most probably be at my place. So we are looking at arriving mid week - show em around Sydney for a coupla and then a weekend wrenching then some more sight seeing the next week and leave mid week.

lol we think alike bro.

We dont have to wrench at my place. Its just I have most of the tools needed to tackle just about anything and the room to do it under cover. Im open to suggestions.

What are ya talking about! It's not my fault that Canberra happens to be a convenient place! Like they built it here for a reason you know

Anyway, down to the important stuff. What are you planning on wrenching on?

Maybe I should buy a 4" turbo back exhaust system from Clay then get him help me fit in at the 'wrenching session' at Brian's place.

Clay might even find it interesting fitting one to a RHD vehicle..

Clays has a regular from Perth who is coming over. I think he wants to put injectors in. And if anyone is thinking of a purchase it would be a good idea to organise it with he's visit in mind. Now your 4" might be out of my tool shed limits. Even the professionals dont want to do it. I have a guy up here who has done mine and Arties for 400 bucks.

I think one of the guys on the east side wanted to do injectors and turbo as well but I can't remember who. Let us know as we will want to send it sea freight because of weight.
