Scary power steering
I have some weird issues with my 95 F150 4x4. When I turn the corner, I don't get the full return of the wheel. It's kind of like a flat spot or something. It only does it some of time. Like one day it acts up all day, and the next day it's fine. Not low on fluid, I replaced the fluid a year or so ago with the Lucas power steering condition/stop leak. I did not flush it, but just extracted it with an oil extractor. Is the pump going out or could it be the gear itself?

Well, I'm pretty sure the steering gear is going bad. Now I'm wondering if it is worth the trouble to rebuild it? It's like half the price of a reman, but I'm not sure if I need any special tools to disassemble and more important reassemble it.
