MA muffler regulations???
hey guys... wondering if any Mass guys know if u need a muffler or not on your exhaust ?.... looking at buying an 4"MBRP turbo back system without the muffler but im wondering if i should buy one w/muffler... thanks for any help!

MBRP makes exhaust systems where you can easily replace the CAT and/or muffler with delete pipes. The components will bolt back in if necessary. You can spend a few extra dollars and never have to worry about it.
We don't have inspections where I live, so I haven't had a muffler installed for a long time. We do have annual emissions testing though, so having a CAT is mandatory. I like to run with an open exhaust, except when I'm towing any distance. The CAT cuts down on the noise for those long trips with the trailer. I can pull or re-install the CAT in about 20 mins to suit my needs.
