question on "strange" button

hey guys, had my truck for about a month now and holy hell do i love it!. Not one issue, using it to pull my race hauler and out of town drives.
My question is, there is a small black button on the dash under the ashtray. cant seem to figure out what it goes to, bought the truck used, so maybe previous owner pulled off the acc. for it?

Ive searched the web and manual...cant find anything

tell you what it looks like. On my 7.3L I had a turbo life saver. It allowed the motor to keep runnung for a given amount of time after the key was turned off. You do that to allow the turbo to cool after a hard run. The way it worked was stop the truck and put it in park. Push the button. If you start hearing little beeps that's what it is. Each beep is one second that it will run after the key is removed. after it gets to 30 secs the beeps get louder and they represent 10 seconde each. Of course it also resembles the driver eject button on the james bond aston Martin. Soooooo, push at your own risk.

Definitely not OEM. The only way to figure out what it is is to see what it's connected to. It may not connect to anything, the previous owner could have removed what it connected to and left the button there instead of a hole.

OMG WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T PUSH THAT BUTTON!!!

Seriously...nice skips (rockin' the Chuck T's) by the way...like everyone else said, it's aftermarket, likely alarm/valet mode type deal.....or twin co-axial .50 BMG headlight machine guns perhaps!
