I have a 04 F250. My back up sensor stopped working the other day. I looked for a fuse but found nothing. Checked the wires but found nothing. Is there a module for this? Also, when I put it in reverse I hear a little chirp, could the push button on the dash be out and thats the reason it doesnt work or what do I check next?
Check to see that the sensors are clean and not cracked, obstructed, etc.
Then check all the connections, there is a plug for each sensor that should have dielectric grease in it. The harness connects to the truck to the left of the spare tire. That connection should also have dielectric grease in it.
Any broken connection will stop the sensors from working.
In the cab look at the switch and the plugs for it.
Not sure if your year is fused, check the manual.
