5 x 5.5" same as the Lightning and most other Ford and Dodge half tons up until the present body style. FWIW your stock back spacing is 4.25" with a 7.5" wide wheel which works out to a zero offset if your rim manufacturer specifies their wheels that way. On my 96 I went to 8" wheels with 4.5" backspacing (also zero offset) with no problems and a bit of room to spare.

Shop around Lightning wheels are usually expensive and are prone to the paint peeling. You can usually do better for less,

Less backspacing causes the tires to swing a wider arc as you steer, and can affect tracking, caster, camber, return-to-center, steering force, bumpsteer, & wheel bearing life. Front end alignment is complex & delicate, so read up before you mess with it. You can probably find a steering article I OCR'ed on BroncoData.com, or you might be able to dl it (without the pics) by clicking here. Think about the line from the upper ball joint thru the lower down to the ground, and where it intersects the line straight down thru the tire.
