Look under the door weather strip seal adjacent to the lock . The lock is held in place by a long set screw . If you have any luck at all it won't be rusted in place . If it is you will be entering another post asking how to remove it . Good luck !! Might want to enter '52 door lock in the search criteria . This has been discusssed before . Later , Denny

You may need to peel away the door weatherstripping slightly as the hole for the set screw is hidden by the weatherstripping most of the time. The screw is usually an allen head. As Denny mentioned, hopefully it was be frozen from the rust. Spray some penetrant for a few days on it and let it soak before trying to remove it.
Another way to avoid this trouble is to have your door lock cylinders re-keyed to match the ignition or have a new key cut. Any professional and experienced locksmith can do that. Usually would cost you $25-35 or so. I'd go that route first.

Thanks for the info I found that I have locks on both doors so i am working on the drivers door now and I am going to try and drill out the set screw and then get a replacement. Let you know how it turns out. Thanks again. Bill
