Hey i am working ona 95 stroke, it has a dead short on the 50amp maxi fuse #15 under the hood. The manual says the fuse is for fuses 1 and 7 in the cab and for the power network box. Fuse E. I cant seem to find any info on the power network box, any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks, Chad.
Don't think we have a power network box. Fuse #15 50A does supply power to fuse 1 and 7 in the cab as you mentioned. Diagram shows it also supplies power to fuse #5 15A in the engine compartment. Is this a truck or a Van?
power network box? maybe you are refering to the power distribution box, which is the fuse block under the hood which subfeeds the fuses in the cab.
i would start with the process of elimination to try and isolate your problem.Remove fuses#1,#5,and#7 in the cab, then see if fuse #15 under the hood blows,if it does you have a wiring problem between the fuse blocks.if not install fuses#1,#5,and#7 one at a time untill fuse blows again this will point out which circuit you have to check out.
in cab fuses:
#1-heater/ a/c blower
#5-air bag restraint
#7-turn lamps,rear window defrost
heres a link to a '96 manual, there's a little information in there. 1996 Bronco/F-Series Workshop Manual
