If there was one more place on our odometers, you'd see I hit 250,000 miles today.
Ok, ok, I've only been behind the wheel for the last few thousand of them, but that makes it an even greater testament to how well built and tough these trucks are. Mine spent it's entire previous life getting used and abused on a farm, and apparently having only the bare minimum of maintenance and repairs, a large number of which were "farmer engineered" fixes.
Forgive me for "high jacking" you thread, but since you have posted a clear photo of one of our 1980-1986 speedometers, I am reminded that I once posted a thread asking what the double marks are for? [see by 10/15 mph; 35/40 mph & 120 kph] Does anyone know or have ideas?
man 250K! That's awesome I should hit 200K in a year or so ( dont drive it to much these days cali gas is high). Change the oil often and dont over rev you might get to 400K who knows!
The outer marks is mph and the inner marks are kilometers.
