She made it!

If there was one more place on our odometers, you'd see I hit 250,000 miles today.

Ok, ok, I've only been behind the wheel for the last few thousand of them, but that makes it an even greater testament to how well built and tough these trucks are. Mine spent it's entire previous life getting used and abused on a farm, and apparently having only the bare minimum of maintenance and repairs, a large number of which were "farmer engineered" fixes.

Here's to hoping it goes 250,000 more!

The motor for sure. I'm fairly sure the trans is a replacement.

nice. congrats. that's really saying something for a beaten farm truck and a place they use salt on the roads.

Congratulations!

Forgive me for "high jacking" you thread, but since you have posted a clear photo of one of our 1980-1986 speedometers, I am reminded that I once posted a thread asking what the double marks are for? [see by 10/15 mph; 35/40 mph & 120 kph] Does anyone know or have ideas?

If so, that last shift at 120 kph would be kinda crazy...
