Hey im in need of anyone who is good with wiring. I had a 1968 ford f250 and a 1978 f150 and i need to wire up the motor to be started and run and all i got is the 1978 wiring from the cab and the wiring from the 1968 360 motor how can i make this work
if i follow you, you've got the '68 motor in the '78 chassis?
1. hook up the "hot in run" wire from the ignition switch to the coil (make sure there's a resistor somewhere in line here.)
2. hook up the wire from the "I" terminal on the starter solenoid to the coil as well
its a 1978 f150 body on a 1968 f250 chassis i look into your advise as soon as i can still got to bolt down carb run fresh break lines and hundred other things what was i thinking it woulda been less trouble to just buy an old 4 wheel drive truck than to do all this
