Does anyone know what the heck that coffee can shaped thing is under the hood on the passenger side of my 1990 F-150?? I dont like it and want to get rid of it! unless I really need it
Yeah, that coffee can approach for a vacuum canister is a little bit of a let-down. It does do it's job for sure but when I bought my truck new I was a little dissapointed when I eyed that thing. Makes ya kinda wonder if you scraped the black paint off if it says FOLGERS underneath!
It's the same way on my '89 F250 460. I looked at it and said "huh" .
My truck works really good, so I haven't given it much thought. Although, I wonder if there is something that could cover it up, or something that would replace it and look better.
I don't see why not. A vacuum canister is a vacuum canister is a.......... you get the point. I would try to keep the same size canister or close to it.
Yeah that would be great! I am in the middle of removing all of my A/C and unwanted items from under the hood, and that coffee can is high on the list. If anyone finds out if those can be used in place of the stock folgers can, let us know.
