the tuner from 5-star will def. wake up ur truck but you wont see any real MPG gains..
do the tuner for better drivability, NOT for expected MPG gains..
with that said regearing is by far the best real world power adder... if you can afford it.

Whatever you do dont get a Superchips. my father got one for his '01 6.8 and it did absolutely nothing. i've heard nothin but good about the 5-star. must be some good stuff. but then again anything is better than paying 300 for the superchips to do nothing but change the tranny.
