intake manifold

just found a hole in my intake manifold on my 1994 7.3 IDI with factory turbo, and i was wondering if it was possible for a manifold from a non-turbo 7.3 would work or if i would have to find one from another 7.3 turbo, any help would be appreicated

A non turbo intake will work just fine.

Just curious, Where is this hole? What is leaking? Are you sure you don't have a hole in your valley pan gasket? The intakes should swap out from the idi to a turbo idi.

The manifold has a hole on the back where your intake hat sits, thats where the cdr valve sits on na motors. My hypermax kit came with an expandable plug to plug it. And with that hole you aren't making any boost I'm assuming.

Well i would start by throwing a plug from a banks or hypermax kit...idk if ats had those cause i do know that the CDR was rerouted on the airbox so probably did...just saying haha.

I would just plug the hole by rednecking some sort of plug or buying one from ATS, Banks, or Hypermax.

ATS didn't have a "plug" for that hole. Part of the pedestal design was a machined surface that fits flat against the hole. There is a groove for an o-ring to seal it. The Ford stock setup is almost identical to the ATS setup, soooo I'm confused at where your hole is.

Any chance you can get a picture? There is a drain hole for the valley pan in that general location, but it is smaller than a quarter.
