Question HOW do I remove this piece?

Its easy?, only unscrew the several screws?, How do I pull the wipers and what about the antenna? anything to do with the molding of the windshell?

Thanks in advance.

THe wiper arms have tabs that you pull up on to remove them: pull the blade away from the windshield as far as it will come, then pull up on the tab that you will see.

Then to remove the antenna: pop off the crome cover plate, then remove the four screws, lift up the assembley and remove the cable.

You don't need to remove the windshield trim, just remove all the screws in that white piece, the ones along the front edge, and the ones in the top of it.

If you got any more questions, post up!

Good luck!

Roentgeep That is the cleanest engine compartment I have EVER seen. All I can say is DAMN! The only time mine was that clean was the day she rolled off the assembly line. Even then I think you got her beat. WOW!

Alright. I've done this a million times.
Okay, not a million. Let me see if I can relate it to you.

You do NOT need to take off the window trim, but it could help.
If you take the hood off, its really easy to get out, if you dont take the hood off, its not as easy.

There are screws along the hood, inside the engine bay, and a few up further on the cowl close to the window.
Once they are all out and the wiper arms are off, You can work it up and fanagle it out.

Now, I dont know if there are tabs there, but on my 91, there were tabs to hold it in, and they got right in the way, so I bent them outa the way and that helped get it out. The problem comes from the hood being in the way, if your not careful, you loose paint.

If you take the window trim off, you dont have to slide it out from under the window trim.
Once the hood is up, disconnect the antenna, and your good.

Getting it out is actually easier than putting it back.

Yeah I know! I've never seen the one for my truck. It wasn't there when I bought it and I have no desire to go looking for one . I think the only place I've actually seen one is on my father-in-laws 99 Superduty.
