Decode assist please

Ok, I can handle the vin, and all the other information, but I lack any literature that decodes the production code for this 1954 F-100. Assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Vin: F10V4P13377

F-100, 239 Y-block, 1954, St. Paul assembly plant, 13377 (sequential indicating number 3,377 produced)

GVW: 4800

WB: 112 HP @ 3600

Trans: 3 (3 speed remote shift light duty transmission)

Rear Axle: 3.92 (Dana model 44, with 3.92:1 gear ratio, open carrier semi-floating)

Color: U (Meadow Green)

Production Code: 4CM476 (This is what I need help with)

DSO: ** (as stamped in the box)

13377 = Numerical Sequence of Assembly, the trucks specific serial number.

4C = Assembled March 4, 1954.

M476 = Production Code.

Does the M476 mean anything, or can it broken down further?

AFAIK, that's it. Only 4C can be decoded.
