Transmission jerk
When I put my 04-F250 in park on a hill after a drive it will roll about 3in. When i'm out driving and come to a stop and let off the break and start pressing on the gas, I feel a jerk. It has to come from the transmission this makes me a little uneasy.

Good chance the drive shaft spline joints need grease. Take apart and grease with blue marine grease. It has fibers in it that absorb the shock and is highly water resistant. While doing this check the center carrier bearing and U joints for excessive play. If over a 100,000 miles I myself would change the U joints. They are not that expensive.
