long productive day
Went ape on the truck today. Finally got around to the pile of parts I had laying around. Air pump delete, BBK pulleys, sort of fixed my exhaust leak, installed my skyjacker springs and front bilsteins. I worked all day, but doesn't seem like I got much done though.
Took 3 trips to the parts store to find a correct length serp belt. Every time I measured the new length, it was different. Bought 7 of the damn things to get a proper length belt (99' length for a 5.8 with BBK pulleys btw). I couldn't get the rear shocks off though, bolts were rusted fast. No big deal, it goes to the shop tommorrow for some exhaust work anyway, they'll take care of it. Tried to install a 5' tach as well, didn't go so well. Damn haynes manual wiring diagram sucks. Apparently, I only have 1 wire in my ignition switch and no airbag

Best part was driving home. I pulled into a gas station and heard a loud BONG noise. I guess my drivers side spring wasn't seated all the way. Scared the Hell out of me

Anyway, thought I'd share. The truck is coming along pretty well. I'll post some pics later.
