03 f250 electrical issues
I have a 03 f250 with a 7.3 that ran for 10 seconds and died it will not restart the gauges go up then back down there is a clicking sound coming from under the dash it has one yr old batts have checked the cables and the grounds on the block frame and cab and it still does nothing any ideas

Turn the headlights on. Do they work? If they do, leave them on and while someone is watching them, try to start the truck. If they go almost completely out when you try to crank the truck, you still have a connection or battery problem.

Yes, I would check the batteries(pull the headlights on while checking the voltage at the batteries to load them down). If they are ok, you have a major power problem and I would start at the starter relay connections, that's usually where they pull the power off the battery + to feed the underhood fuse box.

got my truck fixed the positive cable on the drivers side batt that supplies power to the fuse box was corroded inside a protective plastic box beside the airfilter box replaced the cable and end of the other cable and it works fine ended up replacing the starter and two fuses but it was a easy fix once it got figured out
