Those charts are indeed interesting...

The barrel price back in 2008 was nearly 1/3 HIGHER yet my fuel at the pump today is HIGHER...things that make you go hmmmmmm.....

Frustrating as all get it out is what it is....

There is a company trying to get a big refinery off the ground here... first all new refinery in the USA in decades... Of course, we have a small group of whiners saying it will ruin the area. They've lined up the Sierra Club and other rent-a-mobs to file lawsuits at every permit approval...

We have a refinery next to Walmart and people don't seem to mind.

Good afternoon everyone. Guys the price of a barell of oil no longer has any determination on the price of gas. Its all up to the speculators on wall street. They will inflare the price of gas so they can make as much money as they can. Then when they stop making money they will all back out an the market will crash. Its been done before and will happen again.

Good point Kevin... They ought to make the speculators put more cash in up front, or actually take delivery of the oil they buy... that would get rid of the easy-money guys real quick.
